Rashad Pridgen is a multidisciplinary performing artist, creative director and innovation strategist.

His works have been shaped, produced, performed in the Bay Area for the past eighteen years. Spanning dance, tech, theater, music video, fashion, film, and creative project making.  He is the conceptual creator of The Global Street Dance Project & Masquerade: an immersive tech presentation of street dance from around the world, and its sub project, a site-specific dance ceremony, presenting full body masquerade suits in unconventional urban environments. Recent works include: Today at Apple Video Lab: Record a Global Street Dance with Rashad Pridgen at the Apple Store Union Square San Francisco. Collaborations with Sadie Barnette Eagle Creek Saloon Institute of Contemporary Art of Los Angeles and SFLAB. (Creative Director & Choreographer) Ethos de Masquerade a theatrical version of the GSDMQ8 presented with Campo Santos with A.C.T at the Strand Theater SF, described by KQED Arts as: “Beautiful, straightforward, oblique.. ..Channeling Banksy and Descartes” (Dance & Performance Artist) Rennie Harris LIFTED! Pdx Oregon guest dancer, Dying While Black & Brown University tour at Harvard Law School, UMass Amherst, U.C. Davis and Univ of San Francisco choreographed by Joanna Haigood. Rashad currently is guest lecturer at UC Santa Cruz in the Theater Arts and Dance Department.
